I am Jessie Boyer. I am a CG artist currently residing and working in Austin, Texas, USA. I have been working in the game industry since 2005. If I wasn't doing art for a career I would probably be either a paleontologist or a linguist... but considering I've never dug anything remotely interesting out of the ground and barely know any other languages I guess it's good that I went with art. I like beer. I like dancing. I like hiking. I have a strange facination with volcanos. I dislike wearing socks. I love reading and have profound respect for well written books, but rarely do i ever get to finish reading a book I've started. I think I've started "The Jungle" for the 5th time this year...

I've been drawing or doing some sort of artistic expression as long as I can remember. Growing up I was nourished on a diet of Disney animation and the paintings of Van Gogh, Monet and Seurat. I graduated with an Associate of Science Degree in Computer Animation in 2004 and I have loved my chosen career ever since.
