But really, I began working on a house project, something more tangible than the bits and bytes which constitue my usual medium of choice. With a surpluss of time and paint and blank walls in our house, I decided to liven up our guest bedroom a bit.
Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 04:00PM Started working on a new model. Been reading lots of graphic novels lately. Re-read Blankets by Craig Thompson, as well as his newest book Habibi - both worth reading. Moved onto something a bit more light hearted. Axe Cop cometh!!

Friday, July 29, 2011 at 03:59AM I've been in the mood to do another likeness, like I did for the Miles Straume piece I did a while back. Lacking inspiration I asked my husband to pick a subject. He chose Zinedine Zidane. Here is what I came up with. More shots in the 3d>Faces Gallery. I can hands down say that his sculpt was probably the most difficult task I have tried as an artist. Strong yet subtle facial features... I also added some pieces to the 3d>professional work and 2d>sketchbook galleries.
Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 09:52PM Did some more sculpting on this guy over the weekend, working on his armor lately, piecing it together, fittingly for a scavenging troll. Also did a new face doodle of an old man. Some days you just feel a bit old.
